Puppy chow, also known as muddy buddies, is a childhood classic that gets a fun, festive holiday twist courtesy of candy canes and tons of white chocolate.This recipe is courtesy of Seasonal Cravings.

Ingredients

  • 7 cup rice chex cereal
  • 12 ounce white melting chocolate
  • 5 candy canes , crushed with a few larger pieces remaining
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Melt white chocolate over low heat on the stovetop, stirring often.
  2. Pour Rice Chex in a big bowl.
  3. When chocolate is melted, pour over the Rice Chex and stir gently.
  4. Add the candy canes and stir.
  5. Pour powdered sugar into a large ziploc.
  6. Add puppy chow in batches and shake until coated.
  7. Add candy cane sprinkles.
