This Irish whiskey cocktail, created by PDT bartender John de Barry, is light, floral, aromatic, and elegant. Ingredients

  • 2 kumquats
  • 1 "-by-1" strip of green bell pepper
  • 1 3/4 ounce powers 12 year whiskey
  • 1/4 ounce st. germain
  • 1/4 ounce honey syrup
  • 1 barspoon of lemon juice
  • ice

Directions

  1. Muddle the kumquats and green pepper, then add the rest of the ingredients.Shake with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a silicone flower.
